Sheryl Paynter

Sheryl Paynter, Lender Relations Specialist, has been with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) since 2009. Sheryl’s responsibilities include marketing the SBA’s guarantee program to banks, assisting banks with administering the SBA’s programs, and educating the local community about the Resources and Services available through the SBA.
Previously, Sheryl worked at Deutsche Bank in New York City as a Vice-President in their Corporate Finance Department where she was a leveraged Commercial Credit Officer and Relationship Manager. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and New York University’s Stern School of Business with a Master’s in Business Administration with a double major in Finance and International Business.
